YSR Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Yojana

The scheme was called District Education Officer (DEO) b. Lingeshwar Reddy, Pendurthy MLA Adeep Raju, along with Serve Sikhha Abhiyan (SSA) officials, was launched from a government school in Saripalle village. After that all the delegates then distributed the kit from their respective constituencies.

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, launched a scheme to distribute school kits among the poor children of the state, named Anna Jagannath Vidya Kanuka, under which there is a provision of a budget of about Rs. 450 crores. Anna Jagannath 72,37,332 kits will be distributed under Vidya Kanuka Yojana.

Under this scheme, all government school students from class 1 to 10 of the state of Andhra Pradesh will be given a school kit or Vidya Kanuka, with the following items – three pairs of uniform, one pair of shoes, two pairs of socks , A belt, a set of text books and notebooks and a school bag.

Due to Corona, there was a slight delay in launching this scheme, but now that the time of opening of the school is coming, the scheme will be fully implemented.

According to this scheme, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka will be distributed to the students at the beginning of their class so that all the students come to their uniform from the first day of the academic year.

YSR Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Yojana basic Goal

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy will formally launch the scheme at Punpadu Government School in Krishna district. This is a scheme run by the state government which will increase the rate of students taking admission in government schools. Which is a bold step, about 42,34,322 kits are estimated to be given across the state which will cost 450 crores.

Benefits of Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Yojana

More than 39 lakh students will benefit from this scheme. All the students will be provided with the complete kit under the Samagam Shishu Abhiyan, which will have the following items as soon as the school opens after Corona.

•  Three pairs of uniforms will be given to the students studying in class 1st to class 10th
• 2 pair of socks will be provided in the Vidya Kanuka Kit
• One pair of school uniform shoes will provide to the beneficiaries
• Notebooks and textbooks will provide to all of the students with the kid
• One belt including in the uniform will provide to all of the beneficiaries from class 1st to class 10th
• A school bag with appropriate size will provide to the students to carry all of their books and textbooks

you have to be prepared with the following documents before applying for this yojana

• School certificate
• Id card
• Aadhar card
• Passport size photo
• Education certificate
• Aadhar card of parents
• Certificate of parents

Due to some technical glitches such as biometric fingerprints not working as torches, some parents have been called on Friday to get the kit.

For Vidya Kanuka Yojana, you do not need to fill any application form, all the students and students of government school will get the kit from their school.
